A place where time seems to know when to stop – with its Medinas, mazelike medieval quarters, spice markets, souks, ceramics, music, food, entertainment, jewelry, metal lanterns and more… but Architecture is not to be outdone! The Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, near Ouarzazate is a timeless place! The medinas of Fez, Marrakech, Tetouan & Essaouira are classified by UNESCO, land the historic city of Meknes and Portuguese city of Mazagan, on the archaeological site of Volubilis are Roman ruins. Rabat, the entire city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is distinguished by its various historical sites: the Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Necrople of Chellah, the Hassan Mosque or the Mohammed-V Mausoleum. A modern and traditional travel destination, the capital of Morocco is also named African capital of culture for 2020-2021.

United Arab Emirates/2021 World Expo - Cultural Immersion Adventure

Greetings Adventurers, 

I am honored to extend this special invitation to join Platinum Tours International’s Where in the World is Bev?? Cultural Immersion Series as we return to the United Arab Emirates. This visit will include the 2021 World Expo, often billed as “one of greatest shows on earth,” and the largest global exhibition on the planet. “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” will be the theme of World Expo 2021 that links to three main ideas “Opportunity”, “Sustainability” and “Mobility” which will drive the Dubai exhibition. More than 100 million people are expected to visit the World Expo during October 2021 – April 2022, with 134 countries participating. 

This 14-day Cultural Immersion odyssey will be a delicate but deliberate mixture of exploration & adventure of a culture that is firmly rooted in Arabia's Islamic traditions, creating a shining example of their true commitment to tolerance and hospitality. The combination of international influences and a strong tie to local heritage has created an intriguing mix of new and old for these seven sheikdoms known as the United Arab Emirates.  Our Cultural Immersion tour will include visiting Dubai, Saadiyat, Sharjah & Abu Dhabi with two days dedicated to exploring the Dubai World Expo.   

During our Cultural Immersion adventure four years ago, we toured Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat’s Cultural District to learn about the plans for two historic partnerships – the creation of The Louvre & Guggenheim, as well as the Zayed National Museum being built on the complex to complete the Sheikh’s image as a city of culture & collaboration. We promised then – “we would be back.”  we also plan to dine at the Burj Khalifa’s distinctive 122nd Floor Atmosphere Restaurant.

Holy Land - Isreal, The Dead Sea and Petra

After six months of research and negotiations, I am proud to announce and invite you to join me for the Platinum Tours International 2019 Holy Land Cultural Immersion tour. 

It has been almost 20 years since I was in the Land of Israel and felt it was time to return -- to make the pages of the Bible come alive again and renew my spirit & commitment to God by walking where Jesus walked, Baptism in the River Jordan and standing on Mt. Nebo & marveling at the Treasury in Petra. 

I was blessed to work for Hal Lindsey, a world-renowned author, evangelist, and TV personality coordinating his Holy Land tours, and have used this experience to build this incredible itinerary. 

The highlights of the tour:

• Wine Tasting & Tour of the Kidron Valley in Jerusalem
• Baptism in the River Jordan by Christian pastor. Although I have been baptized in the Jordan River several times and I always consider it a privilege to be immersed in Holy water at the very place that Jesus was baptized, and reaffirming my commitment to God as my Lord and Savior
• Sound & Light Show on walls of the City of David
• Horseback or horse drawn carriage through the Siq into the Treasury in Petra
• Authentic Shabbat Dinner with Jewish family

Cuba People to People: Cultural Immersion

Our Travel partner Condor Travel has been granted a licenses by the Office of Foreign Assents Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury to provide People to People programs in Cuba, License #CT-2013-304783-1.  A significant portion of your in-country programming is customized for each group to maximize your cultural experience.  Many of the places we visit are not tourist destinations and are thus not always available.  Therefore, each itinerary is created specifically for the group – with no tours being exactly the same.

A full-time schedule of daily People to People activities and cultural immersions and exchanges, including discussions with locals, visits with artists, musical performances, child/senior resource centers and a lot more.

The Ultimate Learning Tour: Consistent with the requirements of the OFAC People-to-People license, this program features a full-time schedule between guests and the Cuban hosts. There will be very little free time on most days, except perhaps during a free evening when you are welcome to see a local restaurant or parador villa for dinner.
